Open guidehiking
Day 7 of the Camino Krk hiking trail on Krk Island — the final outdoor stage from Baška along the Adriatic coast to the historic Church of St. James in Kornić, ending the 150km journey.
The final leg of your pilgrimage begins in the Baška valley, home of the historic Baška Tablet. The path climbs out of the valley, offering one last look at the southern sea before turning inland. You’ll pass through the Punat region, with its stunning islet of Košljun, before finally arriving at the Parish Church of St. James in Kornić. It’s a day of reflection and celebration as you complete the full 150km loop of the island.
Make sure to bring enough water and wear appropriate footwear. The trail is best experienced during spring or autumn.
The best vistas in Krk Island are far from the bus stops. Rent a car to reach the trailhead and explore at your own pace.
