Route Overview

This easy, traffic-free cycling path is highly suitable for families with children. It offers a safe and enjoyable ride amidst the island’s beautiful nature.

The route starts in Punat, one of the most prominent nautical tourism locations on the Croatian coast, and ends in Malinska. It runs along pastures and numerous olive groves that surround Punat, widely known for its premium olive oil. Before or after your ride, make sure to visit the Stari Toš Gallery and Interpretation Centre, a former olive mill where you can learn about the history of growing, harvesting, and processing olives in Punat.

The path runs along the coast to the Church of St. Donatus, a valuable example of pre-Romanesque Croatian architecture. Following vineyards and olive groves, it climbs from the sheltered Punat Cove to the island’s interior. Cyclists have the option to take a branch running through the Vrbnik vineyards to the town of Krk and its Šotovento area.
